Mike died on February 16, 2017 in Nanoose Bay in his 73rd year after a very courageous battle with cancer.
He was in the comfort of his home with his loving wife Ronnie by his side.
Born on August 16, 1943 in Prince Rupert, BC, Mike worked at the Skookumchuk pulpmill in the 70’s. His career took him to Port Mellon, Prince Albert, Saskatoon, Berlin, New Hampshire and Rothchild, Wisconsin.
He leaves to mourn his wife Ronnie of 53 years, his sons John and Paul, daughters in law Rhonda and Marnie. His
grandchildren will dearly miss their grandfather.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held May 6, 2017 at 3620 St. Mary’s Lake Road (25 km west on St. Mary’s Lake Road).
