It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mickey at the age of 74 in the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.
Mickey was born in Vancouver and grew up in Surrey, Carmi, Waldo and Cranbrook.
He worked at Cominco/Teck until closure then United Safety, Ensign Drilling, and Lordco Parts Ltd.
Mickey enjoyed travelling, camping cowboy shooting, and five or ten-pin bowling. He also enjoyed watching Blue Jays baseball and NASCAR on TV.
Mickey is survived by his wife Lois, son Sam (Kathy), daughter Judy (Zachary, Heather), sister Linda (Bill) Plourd, In-Laws Martin (Kathy) Whitesel, Les (Elena) Kemball, Jerry Dolan and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mickey was predeceased by his parents David & Ruth MacDonald, sister Melody and her husband Dan Van der Walt, and In-Laws Roy & Laura Whitesel, Lynn Kemball and Patti Dolan.
At Mickey's request, there will not be a funeral.
