It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nicole Louise (Challand) Lee on November 2, 2017 at the Cranbrook Hospital.
She is survived by her loving husband Mark and her children Denton and Jordyn Sandy and daughter Tegan Lee.
She is also survived by her parents Sue and Doug Pobuda, her brother Dean Challand, her nephews Jarrid Baxter and Zakery Challand. Her father-in-law Picky Lee, sister-in-law Joanne (John) Griffioen, Hoy and Kevin Chung. Her aunts and uncles -- Margaret (Robert) Parnell and Bea (Don) Sharp, as well as numerous cousins.
She was predeceased by her father Gilbert Challand, her mother-in-law Hilda Lee, her grandparents Gilbert and Billie Challand; Bill Pobuda and Helen Dunn and Joseph and Betty Mendelssohn of New Zealand.
Despite her 8 year battle with cancer, she was an amazing mother and wife and never let her illness stop
her from helping others.
At Nicki's request, no funeral service will be held, however a memorial will be held on November 25 at
the Days Inn. Everyone is welcome to share Nicki's life.
