Patricia Helen Almas

In loving memory ~
With sad but grateful hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia Helen Almas, who was in the company of family at the time. Patricia was born in Victoria, raised in Rossland and spent most of her years in Kimberley while raising children and teaching Primary school.
As a teacher, she was well-recognized for her special ability to teach struggling children. When younger, she loved skiing, gardening and camping. In Kimberley, she loved spending time with friends playing bridge, and the yearly Boxing Day fun. She also loved spending summers with friends at Wasa lake. In later years she delighted in her grandchildren.
People were naturally drawn to her and loved talking to her. She was known for her wit and infectious laugh.
Patricia was predeceased by parents Doug and Edna Cavill and her son Baby Johnny. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Robert Cavill (Lorraine), son Danny Almas (Donna), son Steven Almas (Tamara), daughter Nicole Pyatt (Bryan) and grandchildren Jesse, Devon, Micah, Kai, Liam, Carys, Dane, Maxum, and Christian.
A Catholic service was held at St. Josephs in Langley on January 17, 2023.
