July 28, 1927 - October 20, 2018
Robert "Bob" at the age of 91, fell asleep in death peacefully October 20, 2018 in the East Kootenay Regional Hospital. Bob was born in Edam, Saskatchewan July 28, 1927. He made his home in the Gold Creek area for the past 28 years as he fell in love with the beautiful surrounding mountain scenery.
He is survived by his lifelong loving partner and best friend Margaret of 70 years. They moved from Coquitlam after his retirement of 42 years working For Crown Zellerbach as a Millwright.
He is also survived by his son Keith (Lotti), and his Daughter Barbara (Art), 4 grandchildren Earl (Darlene), Richard (Leanne), Lisa, Serena (Joshua), and 2 Great grandchildren, Dylan and Amie.
He is also survived by his 2 younger brothers, Barrie and Gordon. He will be dearly missed by all his family, relatives and friends.
A special thanks to all those who gave such good care at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in the last few weeks before his death. A special thanks to Dr. Davis for her compassionate and professional care.
A memorial will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday October 27, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2200-3rd Street South Cranbrook, BC.
