It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Robert Earl "Pat" Fennessy in the early hours of December 26, 2017.

Pat was born on March 17, 1928 in Lethbridge, Alberta. The family returned to Cranbrook when Pat was two years old. He held many jobs in his young life. He started working for Canada Post in 1948 as a junior clerk.

Dad met the love of his life, Magdalene Roshau, they married September 26, 1951. They were married for 54 years until Mom's passing in 2005.

Pat became Postmaster in 1956, a position he held until he retired in 1985 after 37 years. Pat was a lifetime member of the Lions Club. He also was the founding member of the Rod & Gun Club. Pat loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and huckleberry picking.

Pat is survived by his children: Brenda (Dan), Karen, Kalvaleen, Kevin (Lori), his seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and his brother Marvin "Skip" (Hazel).

Pat is predeceased by his parents Earl and Rita Fennessy, wife Magdalene, and grandson Connor.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

Celebration of Pat's life will be held at a later date.
