(1940-2025)
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother Tanis Matheson (nee Mason) at the age of 84. Tanis touched the lives of all that knew her with her kindness, warmth and generosity. She was the touchstone of her family, always there to lend a hand or provide sage advice. She enjoyed travel, music, gardening and the time spent playing Bridge with her friends. Born in Kimberley B.C., she grew up loving the outdoors. In 1958 she left to pursue a Science degree at UBC and ultimately chose to settle and raise her family in North Vancouver. We will always remember her for her amazing cooking and her ability to stay positive in any situation. A devoted mother and grandmother, she will be lovingly remembered by her family - daughters Catherine (Paul), Gillian (Rob) and her grandchildren - Jack, Connor, Adam, Luke, Evan and Megan.
