Bill passed peacefully in Cranbrook, BC on Saturday, October 20, 2018 with his wife of 61 years and his daughters by his side. He was 89.
Bill was born on September 22, 1929 in Belfast, North Ireland. He was a kind and gentle man with a quiet wit. Bill was proud of his accomplishments in his role as the Director of Parks & Recreation in Saanich, BC. He loved swimming, fishing and travelling to warm destinations but loved family gatherings the most.
Bill is survived by his wife Betty, his children Mike (Judy), Kathy (Trent) and Bobbi (Bruce), his grandchildren Candice, Will, Callum, Liam, Gavin and Adrian, many nieces and nephews and his sister-in-law in the UK, Australia and South Africa. Bill was predeceased by his parents Mary and William and his brothers Neil and Cecil.
Bill requested no service. Bill will be taken to Northern Ireland after cremation has taken place.
