The second annual Kootenay Baby & Toddler Expo is a growing event which took place at the Tamarack Mall on Saturday, Oct. 17. The mall was filled with exhibitors, activities and performances, all about pregnancy, babies and toddlers!
Dixie Star Storytelling from Vancouver did an amazingly colorful performance for the very littlest people and the fashionshow organized by Bumble Tree and Over the Rainbow Family services was filled with cuteness. There were also many professionals such as midwives and health practitioners represented and the doula speed dating gave expectant moms a chance to connect with the doulas on a more personal level.

In the kids play area an interactive womb was set up with heartbeat sound to illustrate the baby growing in the womb. The event was sponsored by Bumble Tree, Photos by Frida, Kimberley Promotions, Over the Rainbow Family services, Denham Ford and Kootenay Savings.
The day began and ended with babyraces!"
