The history of the Kimberley Dynamiters is interwoven with many families, perhaps none more-so than the Fabro family. In the Dynamiters last home game of 2016, Don Fabro, who passed away last April, was honoured for his many years of support. Don Fabro’s history of support and volunteer work with the team began back in the 1940s with the Senior Dynamiters, then the Kimberley Knights in the 70s and 80s and then beginning in 1991 with the Junior Dynamiters. At his side through it all was wife Marj, who dropped the ceremonial puck, along with grandson Chad, to honour Don Fabro.
