For the Bulletin
Recently the Friends of Lois Creek completed another project, further enhancing the trail network that is growing in popularity with locals and visitors alike. Gregg Campbell headed up the work to improve a problem area of A-Frame trail.
This section of trail passes through a small pocket of cedar forest, and the moisture that sustains the ecosystem has also created more mud-bog than trail over the years. Approximately 100’ of boardwalk was built to elevate the trail from the mud. This will improve the trail users experience and also allow this sensitive area a chance to recover.
The donated materials were arranged by Rob Singbeil from MainRoads, with all volunteer labour from the Friends of Lois Creek
