Daffodil Month for the Canadian Cancer Society was officially launched in Kimberley this week, with volunteer Dona Bannenberg selling the first daffodil pin to Mayor Ron McRae. On Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29, Dona and fellow Cancer Society volunteer Irma de Visser will kick off Daffodil Month by selling live bunches of the flowers at Kimberley’s Overwaitea from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at Mark Creek Market on on Friday March 28 from 2pm - 6 pm. Pins will be available at several different Kimberley retail locations.
