Kimberley Gymnastics Club Qualifies Gymnasts for Provincial Championships

Several Kimberley Gymnastics Club athletes have qualified for the provincial championships.

On March 3, 2017 the Key City Gymnastics Club of Cranbrook hosted a qualifying meet at the College of the Rockies. Gymnasts from all over Zone 1 competed for the twenty team spots. Six gymnasts from Kimberley qualified to attend the Provincial Championships which will be held in Port Coquitlam this year on April 7th to 9th. In Junior Olympics Level 6, Solana McRae, Claire Massier, and Madison Jennings of  Kimberley made the team. In Junior Olympics  Level 7, Emery Hoko, Ana Mousseau and Makayla Ashby, also qualified. Solana McRae, Emery Hoko and Claire Massier all finished 1st All Around in their divisions.  Gymnasts from every zone will be present at the Provincial Championships in Port Coquitlam. Commitment, hard work, and excellent coaching have paid off for the girls as they proudly represent their Kimberley Gymnastics Club. At last year’s Provincial Championships the Kimberley team took home 3 medals and 8 podium placings. We are looking forward to the 2017 Provincial Championships and wish the Kimberley team the best of luck.
