The Kimberley Peewee Dynamiters successfully captured the East Kootenay A Division Championship banner this past weekend in Whitefish, Montana. Kimberley went undefeated throughout regular season league play and also in the championship series, defeating Glacier 9-1, Windermere Valley 9-1 and Glacier 8-7 in the final. The Peewee Dynamiters also hosted the East Kootenay Provincial Playdowns February 17-19 in which they won all their games against Fernie, Cranbrook and Windermere Valley to make them the official East Kootenay league representative at the Tier 4 Peewee Provincial Championships to be held in Fernie March 18-23.
