Band looking for Pipe Band pictures, articles from 1976 to present

The Kimberley Pipe Band is seeking photos and news articles.

Jim Warriner of the Kimberley Pipe Band is putting together a book on pipe band history and is looking for photographs.

He believes the most likely source of photos and memories would be former members. If you were a piper piping or drummer drumming in the past 40 years or so, Jim would like you to look through your photo archives.

“We have a book from the early history of the band,” Warriner said. “We want to build another one from 1976/77 to present.”

Warriner is looking for photos and newspaper articles. All originals will be returned if an addressed, stamped envelope is included. Digital photos can be sent to Lisa Whitlock at blackforge1980@yahoo.com and hard copies to 2709 2nd Street South, Cranbrook, V1C 5B5. Call Jim at 250-432-0025 or talk to any band member if you need more information.
