The Selkirk Sr. Girls Basketball Team won their third basketball tournament of the season in Castlegar this past weekend. They defeated teams from Trail, Castelgar and Nakusp en route to their victory. The team competes in the Kootenay Zones tournament this weekend to determine who will qualify for the provincial tournament. If successful at zones, the team will be fundraising to help support their participation in the provincial event being held in Lumby from Mar 5-8, 2014.
