At the end of last week, the Mark Creek Lions strung the lights on the big tree on Church Street in anticipation of the Mark Creek Lions’ Sick Children’s Fund Christmas Tree Light Up.
This year, instead of lighting up a string at a time, all of the lights will be turned on at the same time as the annual Light Up on November 22.
The tree will stay fully lit up until January 1. Donation cans for the Lions’ Sick Children’s Fund will be located in Kimberley and Marysville stores.
