One Happy Highland Dancer! Clutching her Aggregate trophy for highest points in her Novice class is Kimberley dancer

Holly Gale was the sole Kootenay entrant at the Victoria Highland Dancing Association Tartan Day competition. She won 4 gold and one silver to win the Novice Under 12 category.  Holly is a student of Liela Cooper with extra teaching from Natasha Norton and has been dancing for 6 years.  This was Holly first competition in her new category of Novice and she was able to dance in Victoria in front of her parents, Henry Gale and Michelle Fuchs, grandmother, aunt and uncle...the later of whom live in Victoria. Congratulations!!  Holly and many other dancers are preparing for their own competition this weekend.  The Kimberley Cranbrook Highland Dance Association is hosting their 37th Annual Competition...over 100 dancers from BC, Alberta and northern states will be competing....come out and cheer on your local highland dancer!  Parkland Middle School in Cranbrook, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
