The Kimberley Helping Hands Food Bank’s gigantic summer garage sale is not until Saturday, August 23, but Food Bank directors are hoping you will save any household goods you may want to donate starting now. The one day sale will be held at the Kimberley Curling Club from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. August 23.
The sale is always a really big fundraiser, says Food Bank director Stan Salikin and any donations for sale are greatly appreciated.
“We really appreciate people saving any of their items for us,” he said.
As always, Food Bank volunteers will be available at the Kimberley Curling Rink every day from 4 to 6 p.m. beginning August 1 to receive donations.
Drop offs are greatly appreciated but if you simply can’t get your donations down to the curling rink, call Salikin at 250-427-7258 or the Food Bank at 250-427-5522 and a pick up will be arranged.
