It’s been a great year at Kimberley Alpine Resort, and there’s still a month to go. With huge amounts of snow in the past month, conditions are terrific and will definitely last until closing day on April 9.
And before that, there are still a number of fun events planned.
Next weekend on Saturday, March 18, is the Northstar Ski-Mo presented by Boulder Hut.
Participants will start in Plaza and follow the skin up track up to Kootenay Haus, race the gates back down and complete the obstacle course in the plaza.
There will be a grand prize draw for a half week trip to Boulder Hut Adventures in 2018.
Registration is open now.
The first weekend in April sees a new event at KAR, Northstar Days, on April1. Described as an ode to the good old days of Kimberley, Northstar Days will feature live music outdoors in the Plaza, refreshment gardens, Mogul comp, bamboo slalom course, best dressed dog competition, awards for big hair, best dressed, goggle tans and much more.
Break out the old-school, retro, vintage (whatever you want to call it) ski gear and head on up to Kimberley Alpine Resort and celebrate the past.
And finally, closing weekend is Spring Splash, one of the biggest parties of the year.
