The Kimberley Dynamiters now know who they will face in the League championship round of the KIJHL playoffs.
The Revelstoke Grizzlies defeated the Kelowna Chiefs on Tuesday night to win the Okanagan Shuswap Conference.
The Dynamiters will have home ice advantage for the series against Revelstoke, which begins this Friday in Kimberley. Game two will be Saturday, also at the Kimberley Civic Centre.
Had Kelowna won the Okanagan Shuswap, they would have had home ice, due to finishing one point ahead of the Nitros.
The Dynamiters only played Revelstoke once this past season — on October 13 — and lost at home, 3-2. This was the only home game the Dynamiters lost all season.
Tickets for Friday’s game will be on sale beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday at the Civic Centre, and at 3 p.m. Saturday for that game.
