Cross country skiers from around the East Kootenay recently participated in the Teck Regional Snow Camp at Panorama Mountain Resort at the end of November.
Twenty athletes from the Fernie Nordic Ski Club, Toby Creek Nordic Ski Club (Invermere) and Kimberley Nordic Club attended the camp.
They were supported by a number of coaches, including CCBC Development Squad head coach Adam Elliot, and several parent helpers.
The focus of the camp was technique development, including balance, body position, impulse, timing, cornering and efficiency.
The weekend also include a camp dinner, wax clinic, games and relay racing.
