For some of the racers, this was their first experience at a larger race and they all had excellent results. These races were a warm-up event to the upcoming NorAms in Vernon, and as such had a large representation of racers from all over B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, NWT and the Yukon.

Saturday featured skate ski races, with Marielle Ackermann placing 5th, Sydney Wilson 6th in Junior Girls and Brooke Burki in 4th as a Midget Girl.

On Sunday they all skied in the classic technique races, with Sydney Wilson, Marielle Ackermann and Quinn Morgan placing 2nd, 3rd and 5th respectively in Junior Girls. Sadie DeMars and Darah Clarke, both relatively new to racing with the Nordic Racers have shown huge improvements in both their skate and classic racing. Rookies on the team, Brooke Burki and Roan Christie also had great results. Brooke had a 4th place finish in Midget Girls in the skate ski and 6th in the classic race, and Roan Christie placing 11th and 10th for his two days of racing respectively.
