Kimberley U7 firecrackers play at Dynamiters intermission

The Kimberley Minor Hockey U7 Firecrackers took to the ice for a matchup in between the first and second periods at the Dynamiters game against Fernie on Tuesday, Dec. 13.

Goals were scored and spills were taken to the great enjoyment of the young players and the parents and fans alike. The Firecrackers have definitely got the kneel-down-fist-pump celebration down pat.

“The program from what I understand is a long standing tradition with KMH,” said Anna Kennedy of Kimberley Minor Hockey. “It’s a great opportunity for these little guys to get out there, to be encouraged by our community and show how they’re doing.

“It’s fun for the kids to be cheered on by the Dynamiters and feel apart of the hockey community.”
