Major boys baseball blast in Cranbrook

Six teams took to the diamonds at Cranbrook's Confederation Park for major boys' minor baseball action this past weekend

A handful of energetic young sluggers took to the diamond at Cranbrook’s Confederation Park, going head-to-head in major boys’ minor baseball tournament play this past weekend.

A total of six teams, including Cranbrook Rella, Paolini & Rogers, Cranbrook Players’ Bench, Cranbrook Sandor Rentals, Kimberley Athletics, Kimberley Giants and Cranbrook McDonalds battled for the tournament title, with the Giants defeating Sandor Rentals to claim the crown on Sunday.
