There are several great events coming up at the Kimberley Nordic Club in March.

First up is the Women’s Biathlon Blitz on Wednesday, March 6. This event will begin with a 45-minute guided ski with a certified ski instructor. The group will start at the lodge and make its way to the biathlon range, where each participant will have an hour on a private lane to try biathlon.

Next is the annual Nordic Fest event on Sunday, March 10. This year the Kimberley Nordic Club will be offering intro to biathlon, 3KM and 10KM loppets for all ages, a “beyond-the-basics” wax clinic, ski orienteering, a Jack Rabbits circuit for all local kids aged 3-9, and group adult lessons.

North Star Roasting will also be on site serving up fresh coffee. Register at https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=34824

Finally its the first ever adult-only Brew Ski event on Saturday, March 16. There will be four local breweries (Overtime, Grist & Mash, Encore, and Fisher Peak Brewing) setting up beer and snack stations around a 4km ski loop. Upon returning to the stadium, Lennan Delaney will be performing live in front of the lodge from 3:00 - 5:00pm. There will also be a beer garden and barbecue set up in the stadium for those watching the show (please note this is a ticketed event, only those with special event passes can participate). Each ticket includes a beer and snack at each station, access to the show, and one hot dog at the lodge. Additional drinks will be available at the lodge for $5 per drink. All trails will remain open for regular use during the event.
